Tell you what, since the new owners took over in 2025, this stunning little pub has taken on a whole new life. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The vibe when you go in is now totally chilled and vacant of any anti-social behaviour. It seems to have attracted a whole new type of people. Those just looking for a good night out in a nice charming environment. They have tonnes of board games and a cool little area where you can play those board games. I think this is a nice little touch. It’s different, but that’s why it works. This has become my new local now as I just love the chemistry that the place gives off
Very pleased with our stay over. The lady manager made us feel so welcome and helped us for parking too which was greatly appreciated. The room was very nice and very warm. I will certainly look at booking the same place next year and hope it’s available. Thank you again. (Sam if I remember correctly)
